Terms of Service

1. The service

Pacqit is a marketplace that connects people who need storage space (renters) with people who have spare space (hosts). Pacqit is not a storage provider, warehouse, or bailee — bookings are agreements between the renter and the host.

You must be 18 or older and able to form a binding contract to use Pacqit.

2. Bookings and payments

All prices are set by hosts. Payment is processed by Stripe when a booking is confirmed. Pacqit charges a 3% platform fee, deducted from the host payout.

Host payouts are released 48 hours after check-out, provided no dispute is open.

Cancellations before check-in receive a full refund under the flexible policy shown at booking time.

3. Your responsibilities

Renters must declare stored items truthfully, photograph them at check-in and check-out, and comply with the Prohibited Items policy.

Hosts must describe their space accurately, keep it in the advertised condition, and not access stored items except in emergencies.

Both parties must complete the evidence steps (photos and confirmations) at check-in and check-out. Claims without evidence may be denied.

4. Liability

Pacqit's total liability for any claim is limited to the platform fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Pacqit does not insure stored items — renters are encouraged to verify their own insurance coverage.

Declared item values are used for dispute resolution and are capped per the booking flow. Undeclared items are stored at the renter's own risk.

5. Account termination

We may suspend accounts for fraud, policy violations, abusive behavior, or repeated disputes lost, as described in our moderation and trust policies.
