What we collect

Account data (name, email, avatar) is managed by Clerk, our authentication provider. We store profile data you add (bio, language preference), listings, bookings, messages, reviews, and evidence photos.

Host addresses are encrypted at rest and only revealed to a renter after a confirmed, paid booking. Search results show approximate locations only (about 500m of fuzz).

Photos and EXIF data

Evidence photos are stored privately and shown only to the booking's renter, host, and dispute reviewers. We strip location metadata (EXIF/GPS) from uploaded photos.

Payments

Card details never touch our servers — payments are processed by Stripe. We store payment status and amounts for bookkeeping and refunds.

Your rights

You can update your profile at any time and delete your account via account settings; deletion removes your local profile data. Contact [email protected] for data requests.
